Dr. Garret Weber is a board certified pain medicine specialist and anesthesiologist specializing in non-opioid based interventional pain management techniques to alleviate patient suffering. He has extensive training in all aspects of pain including acute pain, sports injuries, chronic musculoskeletal pain, chronic neck and low back pain, neuropathic pain, CRPS, cancer pain, pediatric and adolescent pain.
Dr. Weber has a Medical Degree (M.D.) from SUNY Upstate Medical University, graduating in the top of his class, Summa Cum Laude. He trained in Anesthesiology at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Weber went on to complete further subspecialized fellowship training in pain medicine and interventional techniques at Cornell University, Memorial Sloan Kettering and Hospital for Special Surgery; also in New York City.
His approach involves a comprehensive assessment of the etiology of patient's pain and offering multimodal therapy to improve functional outcomes and quality of life.
Dr. Weber has extensive experience in ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided nerve injections and catheters for acute perioperative, post-surgical and chronic pain, epidurals, neuromodulation, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, sympathetic blocks for upper and lower extremity pain, radiofrequency ablations, cryotherapy, neurolysis, botulinum therapy and regenerative and prolotherapy as well as myofascial injections.
Dr. Weber has joint appointment at Westchester Medical Center in the departments of Anesthesiology and Radiology. He also has faculty appointment at New York Medical College and actively participates in the teaching and education of medical students, nursing students and trainees.
He is a lifelong Westchester resident and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and enjoys Tae Kwon Do as a third degree black belt.
